wip update

Have some technical questions for you, specifically about your layout, its super clean, and your lines are all the same width,
was just wondering your technique for transfer the image to your Board/Paper. 
or do you just use an overhead, its just so clean,. looks almost printed, like a tattoo outline drawing..
Not trying to insult, or pry, just want to be the best i can be.. 


We only use Illustration board, typically cold press, but have used hot press, super smooth, cold press is good for multiple texture rendering..
lately bought some Canson paper recently, due to price.
and size only need like 11" x17" for these hockey players, but cars and bikes need much larger for the detail, but drastically adds to the time required. 35-40hours per vehicle.. 3-6 hours hockey players, [wish i could post a few of the hockey players directlyu here]
 
have been drawing my sons Ice Hockey Teammates, however Have a Koenigsegg One in the On - deck circle, and figured if you had any advice on how to get such a clean transfer? 

do you see the layout lines getting in the way when you do the drawing, or you incorporate them?
some times i find the layout to be too dark 
have used Saral and sallys graphite transfer, sallys wasnt my fav. but utilizing a fine point sharpie, the line isnt as harsh,
wide point sharpie, for some of the shading..
